"Hibernia"...die Rig vor der Küste Kanadas.

Hi !!

Hier mal einige Bilder:

ODG UKEZ Offshore Scenery - Released 23/04/2006
The ODG Project are proud to announce the release of their first comprehensive offshore oil & gas industry area sceneries packages, ODG UKEZ phase-one.

The ODG UKEZ phase-one series of offshore oil & gas industry scenery packages, will place 332 helipads and 385 related representational models, of offshore oil & gas industry installations & vessels operating in the UK economic zone.
These models of the offshore oil & gas industry's related objects, are positioned as in real life during the period 31/05/2004-06/06/2004,
and comprise -
256 Fixed Installation Platforms
16 FPSOs
28 MODU Semi-Submersibles
18 MODU Jack-Ups
67 Suppport & Intervention Vessels

For an enhanced flying experience, various addon-packages include -
Turbulence - Adding air turbulence when flying helipad aproaches, along with thermals & updrafts above the turbine exhausts and flares... Avoid overflying ! (FS2004 only).
Voicepacks - Adds ATC spoken names for the UKEZ objects, (requires EditVoicePack). - Not released yet.
AFCADs - Adds object visibility to the FS Go-To Airports menu, GPS, Flight planner, FSNav, etc. plus ATC & AI F/P availability. - Not released yet.

These packages comprise of 333MB of scenery & textures, have taken over 21 months to develop, so far, and due to various reasons & our IRL commitments, a full 10 months longer to release than originally anticipated.
Phase-one packages are designed to be fully compatible with both FS2002 & FS2004, (unless otherwise specified).

The package implementation has been designed specifically to be to be easily upgradeable, with every scenery object contained in its own BGL, allowing for easy replacement with a more detailed or advanced model.
It is intended that various updates will include texture replacement packages to further enhance the IRL apperance of certain models.

In ODG UKEZ phase-two, we will replace these representational models with realistic and LOD'ed models, (as incremental releases).
We're hoping that this ODG UKEZ phase-one release will stimulate other additional modellers to assist in undertaking phase-two.
