Lockheed Jetstar
The JetStar is perhaps best known to the public as the private jet featured in the James Bond film Goldfinger.
The Lockheed L-1329 JetStar is a business jet produced from the early 1960s through the 1970s. It was the first dedicated business jet to enter service in 1957. It was also the largest and most comfortable for many years, and continues to be in service as one of the larget corporate/private jets available.
The JetStar is typically configured in the characteristic business jet layout, with a swept wing and a T-tail, large fuel tanks wing slats along the front of the wing outboard of the fuel tanks. Trim is provided by pivoting the entire vertical stabilizer. A speed brake is located on the underside of the fuselage.
