Junkers Ju52 IG Farben Bayer Leverkusen
This is a Repaint Texture for Oliver Fischer's Junkers Ju-52 v.2 on IG Farben Bayer Leverkusen colors. ATTENTION: TEXTURE ONLY!!!
In order to use these textures you must have the Junkers 52v.2 for Fs2004 (Junkers_52_V.2.exe). You can get this wonderfully designed aircraft at: http://junkers-52.de.
Regarding to the Ju52 owned by the IG Farben Bayer Leverkusen (nickname: the flying pharmacy) was a brand-new aircraft of the type Junkers 52/3 m, which has been equipped for special tasks since its production. The plane was provided with the Bayer cross on each side of the cockpit as well as a large cross underneath the wing-panel and the official registration number D-AOHU in connection with the national emblem of the at that time government on the vertical fin. Very special about the Ju52 was being the first industrial big-plane in the world. The "old lady" was quasi the first company-owned aircraft in the world. She's been dubbed on 16.11.1937 at Cologne Airport "Butzweilerhof". At the same time this was the site of the plane so that the local specialists of Lufthansa could have been used for maintenance works. Shy after the World War II begun it has been surrendered to the German Wehrmacht and has been used for military operations henceforth.

File Description:
This is a repaint only for the Junkers Ju-52 by Oliver Fischer. This repaint is in the markings of the France based Ju-52 F-AZJU, owned by Amicale Jean-Baptiste Salis. During restoration it was determined that this is not a CASA 352L, but a German-built Junkers Ju-52/3M, assembled by CASA. It served with the Spanish Air Force as T.2B-212 until 1976, when it was then sold as G-BECL. Its current owners acquired it in 1990 and have beautifully restored this aircraft and fly it regularly. The EADS logo (European Aeronautic Defence and Space) is not WWII era correct but marks the assistance provided by the company in returning this Ju-52 to the air. The aircraft is finished in the markings of a Luftwaffe Ju-52/3mg5e of KG zbV 172 used during the Crete invasion of 1942.
