Und noch ein paar Anmerkungen...

Zitat

"THANKS" Dan .... and just a few quick words about the items featured within latest website update !

1. All the new files listed above are exactly what that suggests .... "NEW FILES".

2. Likewise all upgraded/replacement files are also precisely what that suggests .... "UPGRADED/REPLACEMENT FILES".

3. The new B707 PANEL CORE FILES/GAUGES package features a number of improvements/refinements upon the last gauges set and which apply to all our Boeing aircraft type panels. We recommend folk replace their last version B707 gauges with these new files.

New features provided by this new B707 PANEL CORE FILES package include "PS7 PRESSURE" for our B707-420 panel (1st row of engine instruments only) as may be seen per the new B707-420 panel preview image on the "BOEING PANELS" downloads page. PLEASE NOTE:There's no replacement B707-420 panel file .... it isn't necessary !. V-REF data with automatic speed bug settings are now a feature of all our Boeing panels .... per small pop-up window when the "V" icon on each main panel is selected.

If currently using FSUIPC (even in unlicenced form) we recommend you uninstall/reinstall this uitilty .... selecting at least "MINIMUM WEATHER DEFAULTS" when reinstalling. Though not imperative this action is intended only to ensure FSUIPC recognizes the latest gauge dates. Remember to shutdown/restart FS between uinstalling/reinstalling this module .... sometimes computers do strange things ! ??? PLEASE NOTE: FSUIPC (even in unlicenced form) is essential for our Boeing, Convair, and Doulas panel weather radar ubits to work. This module does however offer many other optional advantages too which are accessible only to full licenced users.

4. The following 3 existing B707-120/B TYPE panels have each been reuploaded ....

B707-120 1959
B707-120B
B707-120B 1965

IF you already have these specific panels installed then you do not need to download and reinstall them. The only changes to these files are to the installation instructions .... which now have all references to B707-138/B removed. This is due to our now releasing 3 new B707-138 TYPE specific panels for these aircraft versions. For precise information as to what particular Boeing panel should be used with each aircraft type please refer to the respective "B707/720" and "C135" postings entitled "WHAT PANEL & WHICH PLANE" which appear on our "ABOUT HJG AIRCRAFT" forum page .... here you'll find all the information you are ever likely to require regarding our aircraft models, panels, and soundpacks :)

5. 4 new B707 TYPE panels have been released as follows ....

B367-80
B707-138 1959
B707-138B
B707-138B 1965

We appreciate our new B367-80 panel may not authentically replicate the true 1954 B367-80 panel layout/configuration .... but .... this represents the best we can provide at this time. For this panel to work you "YOU MUST" also download and install the new B367-80 AIRCRAFT BASE PACK, and the latest B707 PANEL CORE FILES/GAUGES. PLEASE NOTE: THIS NEW B367-80 PANEL WILL NOT WORK PROPERLY UNLESS YOU FIRST REPLACE YOUR ORIGINAL B367-80 FDE WITH THE NEW DATA PROVIDED AND INSTALL THE NEW B707 CORE FILES/GAUGES PACKAGE. The new FDE data is by Gary CARLSON, George CARTY, and Mike MONCE. Important new features of this new B367-80 FDE are slower spooling engines (the time it takes to cycle from ground idle to achieve full power .... which our continued research confirms being authentic), and somewhat less sentitive trim response. These new features will also be incorporated into the appropriate B707/720/C135 FDE in due course.

This new B367-80 panel is also intended to be used with the following military C135 TYPE aircraft ....

C135-A
KC135-A
NKC135-A

There's no FDE changes for these 3 military aircraft types. This new B367-80 panel has been tested and works well with each of the above recommended aircraft assignments.

Our 3 new "B707-138 TYPE" panels are very simlar to those for our existing B707-120 TYPE panels .... but .... each features 3 Turbocompressor gauges on the F/E panel as opposed to 2 on the each of the others. This's the correct TC configuration for all B707-138/B class aircraft. Once again .... please refer to the "WHAT PANEL & WHICH PLANE" posting on our "ABOUT HJG AIRCRAFT" forum page for precise information regarding exactly which panel should be used with each B707/720/C135 aircraft type.

New B707 panel manuals have also been uploaded .... and we recommend everyone "PLEASE READ THEM" .... VERY THOROUGHLY !!!!

Our thanks to George CARTY for all these latest Boeing "GOODIES".

6. New BAe 146 Aircraft Base Packs have also been uploaded too .... containing updated FDE for these aircraft.

In particular Station Load data for both BAe 146-300 & BAe 146-300QT aircraft have been revised/improved thanks to the efforts of Mike MONCE. Both lots of aircraft station Load data are now "DIFFERENT". When planning your flights with BAe 146-300QT Freighter aircraft you'll likely need to decide whether or not to reduce payload in order to take on more fuel and maximize range .... or .... reduce fuel in order to carry higher payloads at the expense of range .... all so as to remain within the MGTOW limitations these aircraft .... not at all unlike realworld operations I believe !

I think that's about the lot !

I guess if anyone wants further clarification of anything or needs to know more about something else then they'll likely ask accordingly on our forums.

Have fun folks ! ;)
