We're very proud to see that that Simflight have posted their review of the 'Bug. To our knowledge this is the first review we've had, and we would very much like to thank Skinny Puppy for such a thorough and thoughtful article. Hopefully this will answer any lingering questions some of our undecided visitors may have.
Thank you Skinny Puppy and SimFlight for your wonderful review!

Ladies and gentlemen,
A new version of the VRS Superbug Flight Model video. This time it´s really difficult to tell the difference between virtuality or reality...judge for yourself!
Again, I´d like to thank Miguel A. Abad (Miki) for this new AWESOME work. Thanks my friend, you´re the #1
Enjoy!

Service pack 2 for the VRS F/A-18E Superbug is now live. This update will be automatically downloaded by your ACM the next time you launch it. If you are a registered customer and do not know how to access the support forum, please check your original invoice under SUPPORT for instructions.
Update details:
Updates version(s) 1.0.2.1 to version 1.0.3.1 (SP2)
Installation:
Simply run the ACM (must be online), download the update when prompted, and the installer will automatically launch. The ACM will relaunch after installation.
Notes:
Repaints: Among other things, this update will replace your aircraft.cfg. If you have any repaints, we suggest you backup ONLY the repaint texture folders and the sections of the aircraft.cfg which point to those textures. Keep in mind that this update contains additional liveries which may in fact make your existing repaints obsolete (see liveries, below). A livery system including import/export capabilities is part of this update, so please read the updated ACM documentation and/or paint kit documentation.
Aircraft Preferences: This upgrade will reset your ACM preferences. After running the ACM and adjusting your preferences for aspect ratio, etc, load the default Cessna and then create a NEW flight in the Superbug. You do NOT need to reinitialize your controllers.
Version History:
1.0.3.1 (Service Pack 2)
------------------------------------------------------------
[fix] Canopy-open sound bug introduced in SP1 was causing inadvertent attenuation of ALL other cockpit sounds when the engines were shut down.
[fix] DME-only TACAN stations were being incorrectly flagged as invalid.
[fix] DDI/MPCD display of TACAN bearing-only or range/DME-only symbology was inconsistent. The courseline will NOT appear unless DME AND bearing is available.
[fix] A bug was causing the courseline arrow in HSI decentered mode to be off by the magnetic variation.
[fix] AIM-9 direct-select key combination was not working properly.
[fix] Autopilot was attempting to go wings level if a pitch angle changes were made in a coupled roll mode.
[fix] Pitot heat AUTO mode was not functioning correctly (see the updated Cockpit Systems documentation for details).
[fix] CCIP program cycle (SHIFT-P) wasn't actually changing the selected CCIP program.
[change] Flaps position no longer has any influence on the degree of takeoff trim used when pressing the T/O TRIM function [CONTROL-T]. ONLY the launch bar position determines how much trim is set.
[change] Autopilot HHLD mode will now capture and maintain bank angle (similar to ROLL mode) if bank is greater than +-5 degrees.
[change] The ground handling equipment and pilot visibility is now dependent on the battery and both GEN switches in addition to the previous criteria.
[change] Tip vapor has been changed from a generic extrusion effect to a 3D emitter, and "smart" condensation effects will now appear under the right conditions.
[change] Trigger:1 (cowl flaps inc) will now control ONLY the gun, while Trigger:2 (cowl flaps dec) will fire everything else.*
[change] Removed rudder check from RIG caution. Only stick (X and Y) is required to be moved at startup to clear the caution.
[feature] Added FCS exerciser mode. To use on ground: Toggle FCS BIT consent (SHIFT-CNTRL-B) followed by FCS reset (SHIFT-CNTRL-F). Cycle will run for 20 seconds and can be terminated with paddle switch (delete).
[feature] Added ACM livery import/export/browser tab and updated Aircraft Manager guide to reflect changes.
[feature] Added ACM controller diagnostics.
[feature] Added Paint Kit documentation. The actual paint kit Photoshop document may be downloaded from the VRS support forums.
[feature] Added additional and revised documentation (primarily cockpit systems).
[feature] Volumetric ("3D") landing light effect licensed from A2A. All VRS customers may now enjoy 3D lights on the Superbug!
[feature] Added Bullseye coordinate entry fields to ACM Mission preferences.
[feature] Added Bullseye symbology to SA and HSI DDI pages.
[livery] Added fictitious Canadian Forces 409TFS livery courtesy of Rob Pracic.
[livery] Added fictitious RAAF 82 Wing livery courtesy of Rob Pracic.
[livery] Added fictitious Swiss Air Force J5040 livery courtesy of Rob Pracic.
[key] SHIFT-M : External light master switch. Controls power to all external lights. Note individual lights can must still be powered.
[key] SHIFT-C : CCIP Mode Cycle. Cycles through the 3 CCIP modes regardless of the current CCIP program.
