With the launch of the Microsoft Flight Simulator X: Acceleration expansion pack and Service Pack 2, we have found a number of visual models have been experiencing certain issues when using Acceleration, DirectX 10 and/or FSX Service Pack 2.
These issues relate to visual models compiled using MakeMDL for FS2004 and ported over to work with FSX RTM (off the shelf) or FSX SP1.
This is not an issue specifcially relating to IRIS, it is an issue commonly found across the flightsim community where aircraft have been compiled for FS2004 and are used within FSX running Acceleration and Service Pack 2.
Issues being experienced include but are not limited to, white textures on aircraft in FSX when running in DX10 preview mode, opaque glass textures in the virtual cockpit and chrome effects in the virtual cockpit when certain light conditions are enabled.
